You have to ask for the breakfast and wait 15-60 minutes depending how busy is reception staff. There is a shared kitchen. There is wifi, altough is slow and won't reach all rooms.

Nothing. The afternoon-night shift staff was rude, they hardly spoke English. Internet does not work on the rooms. Shower with cold water. It was winter and there was no heater. The kitchen was dirty to filth !! There were no sheets on the beds. We were the only tourists. The place serves algo as a sort of "PENSION" so there were local People living there. Don't go to this place, I've previously stayed at the Australian hostel and was excellent, I regret having Changed for my last days in Cairo.

This place is like a rat hole. The bathrooms were not clean. Our room door knob was not proper. Room was not clean. Just beds and mirror inside. No towels , no water bottles literally nothing. Based on others reviews , i stayed here but ultimately i checkout in just 3 hrs as i couldnt withstand the ambience. Location on tahrir square Is great though as its close to abou talek koshary and national museum

The beds and pillows in the double room I booked were comfortable. They will give you a clean towel if you ask.

Staff very willing to help, friendly and relaxed, room was just perfect and very clean. I couldn't be any happier with what I got. It's 2 min from the main street, and because it's not actually in it, it's good to get a good night rest. I had a single room with private bathroom, balcony and AC. This is the hostel you want staying downtown Cairo.
